Staff Peru

 The staff of Pasa la Voz in Peru exists of:

Liesbeth KerstensLiesbeth Kerstens, co-founder and president of both Pasa la Voz and the Dutch Hoedje van Papier foundation. She is responsible for the co-ordination of the various projects of both Pasa la Voz as well as Hoedje van Papier. She studied Cultural Management, Theater Sciences and International Development Studies, in Amsterdam in The Netherlands.  Liesbeth has lived in Peru since 2000 where she has gained a lot of experience in working with various development projects. From Peru she additionally works for Mano, in Rotterdam in The Netherlands, in the areas of fundraising, project management and consultancy for development organizations in countries such as Peru, Guatemala and Brazil.

 

Martin Maletta GoyaMartin Maletta Goya, co-founder and president of Pasa la Voz. He is also responsible for the content and co-ordination of the workshops and publication of the various products the kids produce. He is a photographer, multimedia artist and documentary maker in the field of education.

He has worked for and with various organizations that aim their activities at kids, where he set up workshops and coordinated the activities. Also, has he worked for various Peruvian media organizations where he worked as a photographer and a producer.

 

 

Tania Castro GonzalesTania Castro Gonzales, has been involved in Pasa la Voz from the very beginning and she is responsible for the training modules of the workshops. She trains teachers of Pasa la Voz in the area of pedagogy and creativity. She also gives the workshops photography and journalism and creative writing. For the teachers and tutors of the Pasa la Voz network she gives in-house capacity building courses. The past ten years Tania has worked for Pukllasunchis as a teacher and as co-producer of a radio show for communities in the Andes. She was also in charge of the virtual literature project ENREDOS of the Telefonica foundation. And she was part of the Cuban Council for developing the educational program. Finally, Tania has years of experience in working with street kids and working kids in amongst others Qosqo Maki, Huchuy Runa and the theater group Impulso.

 

Michel Mitrani Reaño, member of the board of directors and advisor to Pasa la Voz. He has over 25 years of experience in designing and setting up educational development projects for rural and urban areas throughout Peru. He is specialized in social development and designing and coordinating social projects. He currently works for Asociación Cutivireni (ACPC), where he trains and guides community leaders and councils in the implementation and structuring of social projects. He has also worked for Centro de Estudios Regionales “Bartolomé de las Casas” proyescto “Casa Campesina”, Associación Pukllasunchis, Instituto de Defensa Legal (IDL) and a with FORMABIAP, a trainings program for bi-lingual teachers in Iquitos in the Peruvian Amazon.

 

Jesús Javier Mar SalgadoJesús Javier Mar Salgado is a teacher at Pasa la Voz. He teaches creative writing to the kids who follow the workshops Video and Photography, Journalism and Grafic Design. Also, he gives in-house workshops and courses at the organizations from the Pasa la Voz network. Jacho has much experience in training and guiding both kids and teachers. Since 1990 he has been working for the Associación Pukllasunchis and he is currently also working as a teacher with María Angola, a school for working kids.

 

 

 

Maria Elena Medoza Altamirano de MillarMaria Elena Mendoza Altamirano de Miller, teacher at Pasa la Voz. She teaches art and graphic design classes. She introduces kids to the world of color and shape. With various observation exercises she stimulates the kids to look more closely at the world around them. Also, she teaches them to reproduce their ideas in art. Over 20 years Elena teaches kids classes in amongst others dance, art, ceramics and jewelry. She graduated from the art academy Diego Quispe Tito, specializing in drawing and painting. She is currently doing research for her masters and makes art for various expositions.

 

Frank Lenin Ochoa VerlardeFrank Lenin Ochoa Verlarde, teacher at Pasa la Voz. He teaches video and journalism classes. In his classes kids learn techniques that can be used in making magazines and video’s, but also in their daily lives. They learn to express their opinion, visualize their ideas and get themselves heard. For Associación Pukllasunchis and María Angola school Frank has worked in the juvenile detention center Marcavalle,

 

 

Victor Luis Mamani MachiadoVictor Luis Mamani Machiado, teacher at Pasa la Voz. He teaches computer science. Kids who follow the workshops Video, Journalism, Photography, Grafic Design and Art, will receive advanced computer science classes. This may vary from using word processing programs to editing videos. Also he is system controller of Pasa la Voz. Victor has worked for various schools as a computer and information teacher.

 

 

 
César CarranzaCésar Carranza gives capacity building courses for organizations of the Pasa la Voz network. He is psychologist and works for Associación Pukllasunchis, where he is coordinator of the high school and gives trainings in pedagogy. César has gained experience also in the center for alternative education in Lima, where he was working as a coordinator and a mentor.

 

 

 

Marlene Quisepe BarrientosMarlene Quispe Barrientos, coordinator of the Pasa la Voz network and social worker. She maintains contact with the 12 organizations of the Pasa la Voz network. She ensures that kids, teachers, tutors and the organizations come together for the internal and external workshops and courses. She is also responsible for the registration of Pasa la Voz with the Dirección Regional de Desarrollo Social y Educación (regional department of Social Affaire and Education).

She is also active in monitoring and evaluating the workshops. Marlene has worked with many kids in various homes and organizations. She is also president of the foundation Huchuy Yachaq in Cusco.

 

Holguer Mario Castillo EnriquezHolguer Mario Castillo Enriquez, project coordinator of Pasa la Voz. He assures that the operational and logistic part of the workshops runs accordingly. Holguer fulfills many different tasks within Pasa la Voz, some of which are the administration of daily revenues and expenses, the coordination of the transport of the kids as well as acquiring supplies for the workshops and the office. He has many years of experience with coordinating projects. He was responsible for department maintenance and logistics of the community Goya and he was project coordinator with Associación Pukllasunchis.

 

Edgar Carpio

 Edgar Carpio, accountant of Pasa la Voz. He is responsible for all bookkeeping. He guards administrative aspects of the foundation. Also, he checks the financial report and the annual budget. Edgar has been a bookkeeper since 1976 and has worked for several public and private offices.

 

 

 

Gerónima Ccoyo VelasquezGeronima Ccoyo Velasquez, host of Pasa la Voz. She ensure everybody feels welcome and at home at Pasa la Voz. She takes care of the meals for the kids and staff and makes sure that everyone has a clean work environment.
