Network

Pasa la Voz is convinced that working together one can accomplish more. Therefore, Pasa la Voz has stimulated co-operation by setting up a network of organizations who all aim at under-privileged and/or neglected kids. The pasa la Voz network currently exists of twelve local organizations. Local projects such as:Course for staff of the local organizations

 

These organizations each offer shelter to 30 – 120 neglected and underprivileged kids. Together they accommodate more then 2500 kids, during the day or even day and night. Pasa la Voz not only receives the kids of these organizations, but also its managers and employees. At Pasa la Voz the various organizations exchange experiences, find solutions for common problems and exchange information and materials. Currently Pasa la Voz has signed agreements with twelve local organizations, of which 6 are homes and 7 are NGO’s.

 

Homes

Approximately 55% of the kids that participate in the Pasa la Voz workshops come from homes in Cusco. They originate from small communities within the province of Cusco. The following homes are part of the Pasa la Voz network:

 

NGO’s

Approximately 45% of the kids participating in the Pasa la Voz workshops come from various local NGO’s who primarily focus on after school day care. The following organizations are part of the Pasa la Voz network:

 

Besides the organization from the Pasa la Voz network, other projects took part in courses aimed at capacity building:

 

The last three organizations have indication to become part of the Pasa la Voz network.

 

Pasa la Voz also has contacts with various schools and other projects that work with and for working kids in Peru. Together we hope to promote co-operation and information echange.

 

Pasa la Voz also works together schools, community centers and children’s press agencies in The Netherlands to set up exchange and educational projects.
